Carnival Cruise 2009

It looks like I am never going to get my Cruise pictures scrapbooked so I'll post them here.

On the way to Cozumel Mexico, we sail out of Miami to Key West Flordia then to Cozumel. We are so excited, I haven't packed, LOL I have to get busy, since all my familys not going it's going to be sad leaving them. I'll post photos when we get back, I should be able to take a few. My Ali is such a camera ham, She only wants to take her own pictures, just think a week away from her Daddy, she will have to listen to me and not run to her daddy,Any idea how to get to Senor Frogs

My sweet girl is driving !!!!

Ali got her learner's permit today, She is such a sweet girl, Everbody that works with me and lives close to me left work early so the roads would be clear before she came home, just kidding Ali, I have not rode with her yet and I think I'm going to let her daddy do it for a while.

Scrapbooking Convention August 2008

I have finally recovered from the trip my sister and I took to Charlotte, NC to the Creating Keepsakes Scrapbooking Convention. My sister had never scrapped until about 2 weeks before the trip. I had been to crops before at this event and didn't really care about going but I wanted her to experience the event. We went to the crop and Ila got up and talked and said if you knew what she has just said her name was then you won a prize. She talked a little more then she said if you could repeat what she just said then you would win this new pack of paper that she held in her hand.well guess who just had to have that new paper. I took off running and my sister said that she felt the wind on her back as I passed her chair. Right after I passed her chair I felt my body do this little roll and I knew it wasn't going to be good in about 1 second I knew that I was going to hit the floor, It went like this the arm goes flying out and the knee hits the floor and then the big body hits the floor and it does a roll, if that building had not been made of concrete then everybody in Charlotte would have felt that building shake. If I could have crawled out of that room I would have, there was probably 300 women in the room and it fell silent, I jumped up like I did that every day. Then they started laughing hahahahahahaha. Makayla at /creating Keepsakes came by and wanted to know if I was ok, oh yes I was, but she would never know how fast that leg was swelling and how black it was getting,If I had only went down stairs and helped that lady at the Creating Keepsakes booth repack her crate this would not have happened to me,I was taking a break and I could see down at the registration booth and I could see her having to repack her crate I think someone packed heavy plastic bins on top of those bosskuts I was grieving over them because I had saw them and I wanted one and I didn't get it, well that leg cost more than the bosskut, I ended up that night sleeping with a trash bag full of ice and of course it busted during the night, a bed full of water... what next, well I came home and went to the doctor on Monday and the doctor said that I had a bruised knee, well by Friday my foot was black as black could be so I went back to the doctor and I had a broke foot, I got to buy myself a big black boot and after 4 months it still hurts, I think of how many of those bosskuts I could have paid for, so lesson learned do not try to win a pack of paper that was new and Ila said cost $18.00, when I got the paper at my table it said $13.00. I look at the bright side, It has astronauts on it and space looking stuff and I work for a company that makes product for the space shuttle and we get astronauts that come to our office and give presentations, so I a least can use the paper to scrapbook those pictures.
